We have known these two for several years now and we love their story! First of all, they met while leading Young Life together during college. He had his eyes on her from the start and knew she was worth every effort of pursuing! Unfortunate for Matt, Max did not feel the same. He confessed his feelings to Max and they were not reciprocated. He waited three years and tried again…still nothing. As he began to dream about his future he decided leave the state, when he told Max this news something shifted in her heart. She felt something different and she saw him. She fell for him in that moment and only months later they were engaged.
During Max & Matt’s wedding ceremony this story was shared. I watched Max look at Matt with the most adoring and grateful look I have ever seen. She began to cry while smiling with full confidence that she is making the best decision of her life.
Matt & Max are a powerful duo. I think having 24 bridesmaids and groomsmen is a testament to how they live their lives. They love vibrantly and are just a joy to be around. The couple chose to have the ceremony in Estes Park, then have a backyard reception on the lake! Although it was surprisingly freezing cold for September, the dance floor was so packed that every one stayed to the end to dance the night away.
Max & Matt, you two are just the best!! It has been so fun to be apart of this journey with you guys, from crashing hot air balloons to your vows in the mountains. We have full confidence in your marriage and can’t wait to see the Lord’s plans for you! Thank you so much for letting us help tell your story.
