“Our perfect date night usually starts out around 5pm on a Friday night. We love to go to this one particular sushi restaurant – the sushi chef knows us by name and loves to make us different samples. There we enjoy some food (probably a little too much!) and sake. Afterwards, we love to go for a walk with our dogs (by then we usually get a great sunset) and then curl up on the couch to a movie. One of Jake’s favorite parts is falling asleep on the couch during the movie 🙂 Sometimes we make a sweet treat for the movie; brownies are a favorite.

Our date nights aren’t usually glamorous but we enjoy them. Its a perfect amount of food, us time, and relaxation.”
