We are home!! Good thing we love living in Colorado or else we would have never left the beach!

Robby and I had the incredible opportunity to attend a photography conference called ‘UNITED’ in Santa Barbra this past week. Over 200 fabulous photographers united at the Four Seasons to spend time together learning, challenging and serving one another. We got to learn from some of the most talented photographers in the industry, and even better, we now get to call them friends. I can’t begin to explain how wonderful it is to have true friends in the industry who genuinely care about you and your business.

This week we were asked why we do what we do. Anyone can learn the systems of a business or buy a new camera, but what sets others apart is the heart behind their dreams. This week, Robby and I were reminded of why we are wedding photographers. We were reminded of the importance of setting your values above your goals. Our dreams are rising and we couldn’t be more excited!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the 200 photographers who poured out their hearts this week. Our journals are full of notes and our hearts are full of encouragement and inspiration.

Oh…and spending a week on the beach with my man was incredible. Here are a few pics from our adventure!!  🙂
